Road Trips: What’s your State number?

I’ve had the great fortune to drive a great deal of this country (or be driven).  On my first trip from California to Virginia, my Mother and I counted the states we’d been in.  For mid-30’s, I figure I’m doing pretty well!

What’s your State number?

Rules: I figure if you’ve at least driven or ridden through it or into it, it counts.  I know others have more stringent requirements!  Airport lay-overs don’t count.

Mine: Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Maryland, Massachusetts, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wyoming = 31 (plus Washington, D.C.)
